Clay putty can be applied in one or two particularly thin layers (each 0–1 mm) over fine adobe plaster or other surfaces. This results in an exceptionally smooth, slightly glossy, and shimmering finish.

Application area
It is suitable for creating very smooth, thin-layer mineral finishes on rough surfaces, traditional or pre-mixed interior plasters.

Instructions for use
Surfaces must be clean, solid, and dust-free. Remove any parts that could hinder proper adhesion.

Mixing
Gradually add water (approximately 20–30%) to the powdered clay putty while continuously stirring. Mix for a few minutes, ensuring all powder from the bottom and sides of the container is incorporated, until a perfectly homogeneous consistency is achieved. Let the mixture rest for about 20 minutes. Stir again before application.

Application
Apply the putty with a straight trowel and/or a wide spatula. Smooth it out, making sure the putty covers the surface completely and evenly. If a second layer is needed, spray water on the existing surface to prevent rapid drying and cracking due to shrinkage. After hardening, the surface can be sanded to achieve a perfectly smooth finish.

Precautions during and after application
No special precautions are required!

Tools and clothing can be cleaned with plenty of water.

Material requirement: approx. 1 kg/m² per millimeter of layer thickness
Packaging: 5 kg and 25 kg bags
Shelf life: Can be stored indefinitely in its packaging in a dry, protected place
