Petényi Kaolin Straw-Clay Plaster, 25 kg
The straw clay plaster is a ready-to-use product; there is no need to mix it with additional clay or sand. The clay plaster is made from kaolin, blended with fine-grained, homogeneous river sand and natural fibers, without any artificial additives.
Kaolin has a light color, making it easier to paint, and its fine grain structure allows for easy creation of a smooth, troweled surface.

Adobe plaster has a long tradition in folk architecture, and today more and more people are seeking this type of plaster. It is made entirely from materials found in nature and can be returned to the environment, making it fully recyclable.
In contact with human skin, it does not cause injuries or allergic reactions, and its healing properties have been known for millennia. In addition to providing good thermal insulation, wall structures made with adobe offer excellent heat storage and temperature regulation. Its moisture-regulating properties help maintain optimal indoor humidity compared to other building materials. Another advantage is that it binds harmful indoor air components and unpleasant odors, without any harmful emissions.
Petényi adobe plaster is made from kaolin extracted from the Agyag-Ásvány Ltd. quarry, blended with fine-grained homogeneous river sand and natural fibers (straw fibers up to 30 mm), without any artificial additives.
The use of natural fibers is recommended from a thickness of 1–1.5 cm.
Kaolin’s light color makes it easier to paint, and its fine grain structure allows for the creation of a smooth, troweled surface using Petényi’s finely ground kaolin and sand plaster.
The kaolin plaster is a ready-to-use product; there is no need to mix it with additional clay or sand, only water needs to be added.
Water should be gradually added to the kaolin plaster to achieve the desired consistency. After mixing, let it rest for 1 hour so the kaolin clay can fully absorb the water. Before application, the surface must be cleaned of dust and moistened.
Straw-reinforced kaolin adobe plaster is suitable as a proper primer!
It is suitable for both exterior and interior plastering, and can be applied manually or mechanically.
The mixed material can be used for several days.
